Linekin Bay Resort Celebrates 101st Summer!
The Branch family and dedicated staff invite you to enjoy the great outdoors, beautiful Maine coastline and new features and activities at Linekin Bay Resort.
New General Manager
Mark Osborn has been named General Manager of Linekin Bay Resort. Summer resident on Linekin Bay since early childhood, Mark owned and operated the Thistle Inn in Boothbay Harbor. He has stepped in with wonderful enthusiasm, expertise and appreciation for Linekin Bay Resort’s character and unique circumstances, making a number of upgrades and improvements. Mark is already a dedicated Linekin Bay camper (his grandmother worked as a counselor for the original branch owners) He is a great asset to the Resort and its future. Working with Executive Chef Jon Dexter, new and changing menus will be offered in both the restaurant and the bar and deck.
Boothbay Region Land Trust Celebrates 30 Years
Linekin Bay Resort is the proud sponsor of Boothbay Region Land Trust, celebrating 30 years of preservation, stewardship and education. There are 30 special events (many held on site at Linekin Bay Resort), diverse free educational programs (see www.bbrlt.org for a complete calendar) and the 30 For 30 Challenge! Challenge your friends, kids, dogs and co-workers to take advantage of the spectacular recreation available outside your door. Hike all 30 miles of BRLT’s hiking trails (two trails are walking distance from Linekin Bay Resort.) Paddle 30 miles by kayak to BRLT preserves, and/or identify 30 bird species and/or 30 plants on BRLT preserves. Visit www.bbrlt.org to download logs to track your progress.
